Scarlett Kae Chloe Winchester was born at 5.44 am on 10th Feb, 2016 and she is the cutest baby. Sorry, she just is. No other baby is cuter and that's final.
True to her Aquarian nature she's totally chill and easygoing and loves her bath time. I am going to spoil her rotten

I (and the dog) will be renting the in-law extension at my brother's place, while my dad has found a cozy flat in the same neighbourhood as before for he and my stepmum. Also I'll be working at a swishy department store relatively nearby. I wonder what it will feel like to have money again.

In the space of about a week, I had three very promising job opportunities all fall through for various (pissy) reasons. I've been job hunting like mad and picking up as many casual gigs as I can (everything from commissions to selling popcorn at Secret Cinema), but I have had to concede that I simply am not earning enough to support myself here. I bit the bullet and used some of my meagre savings on a cheap plane ticket home, scheduled early Sept. Once my dad heard he was like HELL YEAH YOUR STEPMUM AND I NEED A ROOM-MATE COME SUPPLEMENT THE RENT FOR US which left me kinda relieved and kinda :/

I wanted to remain in the UK til at least April 2016, but that was on the contingency that I'd have a good job to support myself, which doesn't seem to want to happen (most interviews I've had are for supervisor positions that aren't full time and pay £7 an hour, before tax. Do these employers realise that this is LONDON and not frickin' rural Lincolnshire?). I am disappointed on missing out on what could have been, but also quite relieved. London is great if you have money, but living here has been one massive exercise in stress management and running from poverty. Also I can't help but concede to the fact that my homesickness had escalated to cataclysmic levels.

Thinking I might get some good solid vocational training in a field that will get me the hell out of customer service once I get home and am settled. Maybe theatre/live event lighting and sound production. Bitch I want money and I want it without sacrificing my sanity to mouth-breathing customers who treat me like a piece of furniture.

Also I binged my way through the entire series of Breaking Bad in about three and a half weeks. Jesse Pinkman is my sweet precious baby, Gus/Max is my OTP and any fuckboy who shits on Skyler can scrub the residue out of my meth cooking vat, because Vince Gilligan says so, so there

I am going to be brutally honest: I have seen people make money off of this kind of thing and I wanna see if I can do that too, since it would legitimise me spending much more time than I always intend to playing this game. I've applied to Adsense to see if It Can Be Done.

It is true, I officially have no soul.

For the record, I've actually had a shiny new HP laptop for some weeks now (her name is Sylvia), but I have been occupied by two things:

1) WORK, where I have basically been doing the work of a manager, since our official manager has been obscenely overworked by a ton of other projects. Bright side is I am being recognised and appreciated for picking up slack that no-one else can or will pick up, and I'm being fairly paid for the workload I am saddled with. I still feel like a carcass being picked at by buzzards though. There are people, unlike my over-worked manager, whose poop I have to wipe off their arse constantly and it's wearing at me. Thankfully my usual West End theatre position opens back up at the end of August and I will escape from all this drama like a rabbit with a bum full of dynamite. 

2) In my spare time I have not had the mental energy to do anything but play Sims 4. Yup, I'm down that rabbit hole and a sick lowdown dastardly part of me LOVES IT.

There's a million things I want to catch up on here, I have missed birthdays and commissions and stuff and I want to cap off Flame with its epilogue. Just bear with me, srsly.

Also after an arduous IVF program, my sister-in-law is pregnant and I'm going to be an auntie!!!
